Diamond dogs approach to dog behaviour and training is entirely opposed to the use of punishment, inducing pain and fear by startling your dog by use of aversives such as electric collars, broken chains, loud noises, water pistols etc. These methods are very much rooted in the distant past, are unnecessary and counter productive.
Therefore our services are for people who:
- have discovered punitive methods are counter productive and are seeking a new way forward
- already realise the obvious that it is not okay to frighten or hurt dogs in order to train them or change a behaviour
